As the name suggests, the Old School House was once a hive of activity providing schooling to the local community. The building is believed to have been built in the mid 1800’s and is recognised as a Grade II listed building, with many fine features including that of a block which projects forward on cast iron brackets. The inscription above the gabled porch reads St Michaels Church School.

Today, this historic building fronts onto the main thoroughfare which offers a broad range of shopping facilities. Nearby occupiers include Landmark, OKA, Cotswold Collections, Edinburgh Woollen Mill, The Lygon Arms Hotel and Broadway Museum.
