After successfully letting a retail unit in Cheltenham to Paul & Jo, KBW is delighted to announce the doors are now open and the real ale flowing under the ‘Angry Parrot’ name.

Once home to Sonic Quartz for a number of decades, the property has now been completely transformed into a micro pub which opened on 10^th March 2020. Located on St James Street, the micro pub offers 6 real ales served directly from the barrel, it has a number of rooms for quiet gatherings and even benefits from a small garden at the rear.

Paul Cook, founder and chief pint pourer, wanted to bring a Micropub to Cheltenham serving quality ales directly from the cask; “The emphasis at the Parrot is very much on community and quality local products. We have been very fortunate to meet some wonderful people in the short time that we have been open.”

Usually open Wednesday to Sunday, we hope you join us in supporting a new independent business (when government guidelines allow!) in Cheltenham’s town centre.
