With the first lockdown instigating a huge rise in demand for puppies, Jack Clinch and Kim Young saw an opportunity to be able to expand their existing business and provide a safe environment if and when dog owners need to return to work away from home.

KBW’s Surveyor Laura Hatten adds: “This is a unique use for the property which required the tenants to obtain a change of use for the building. We negotiated the lease terms on behalf of the landlord and monitored progress of the change of use application through until completion. The building itself has a lower eaves height meaning it is not suitable for many typical industrial uses, so I’m glad that the property has been able to be put to good use”.
