KBW handles acquisition of ‘wheelie’ great property
On behalf of Balfe’s Bikes, KBW has acquired a retail unit in a highly visible prime retail area of Fulham in London.
This retail unit, extending to over 1,600 sq ft, comprises a well fitted ground floor and a basement which benefits from natural light. Parsons Green (District Line) station is located within 400 metres of the subject property and nearby occupiers include Caffé Nero, Emma Bridgewater, Sainsburys Local as well as a range of independent retailers, local bars and restaurants.
The property is well suited to the needs of Balfe’s Bikes as identified by Senior Director of KBW Richard Knightley. He commented: “We are delighted to work on behalf of such an established brand, known for their great technical expertise and value for money. The successful acquisition is just one in the pipeline for the growing brand and our client is eager to maintain momentum in their quest for additional stores in residential areas and commuter end points within central London. KBW is actively looking for new opportunities on their behalf”.

Aiming to open 2-3 shops each year between 2019 and 2024 KBW are retained to source leasehold retail units of 1,500-2,500 sq ft in the following priority locations: Clapham, Kingston, Putney, Richmond, West Hampstead and Wimbledon.
